- paying your mortgage
To pay your mortgage online, log on to Chase Online, our award-winning site for Chase customers. If you don't have a Chase Online account, it's easy to get started. Apply now.
Once you've logged on to the site, you'll see a list of all accounts you have at Chase, which may include checking, savings, credit card and loan accounts.
Step 1
Click the "Payments & Transfers" tab at the top of the page.
Step 2
Click the "Home Payments" tab in the Bill Payments area.
Step 3
Choose "Mortgage" under Loan Type and click the "Schedule a mortgage payment" under "Quick Links".
Step 4
Click the dropdown menu next to "From Account" and choose which account you would like to take the money from. Chase banking customers should see their accounts listed already. If you would like to add an account from another bank to the "From Account" list, click "Add external account" under the "I'd like to" menu and follow the instructions.
Click the dropdown menu next to "To Account" and choose "Mortgage".
Choose whether you want the transaction to be "One-time" or "Repeating". Click the "Next" button.
Step 5
Most of this information is just for confirmation. You can adjust the "First Deliver By" date and, if this is recurring, set the number of transactions or let it be automated for the life of the loan.
Note: If you need to make the payment today, click the "Fastpay" link near the top of the page. Otherwise, the payment will be made on the date listed next to "First Deliver By".
You can also choose to pay more than the regular monthly payment. If you do that, make sure to note how much of that additional amount will be applied against the loan's principal (rather than the interest).
Click the "Next" button.
Step 6
Just check that all the information listed is correct. If you want to change anything, click the "Change" button. If it is correct, click the "Submit" button.
Step 7
You're done! We urge you to print out a copy of the final screen for your records.
